Hi! this is teacher Oliver. I want to share this simple information to you about some bars in Japan.

| In Japan, bars offer something called “bottle keep” in which a customer can buy a bottle of their preferred liquor such as shochu, whiskey and Japanese sake, drink some of it and then have the bar keep the rest in the same bottle, to be consumed the next time they visit the place. This is done to allow people to drink without worrying on finishing a bottle of liquor at once. |
Bars and restaurants which offer liquor are very common all around the world nowadays. It is one of the places where most of the people who want to relax and enjoy some moments drinking go. It is good to know that some of it in Japan specifically, offer this kind of service which is called the “bottle keep”. This is a good idea to attract people to go back in their place from time to time so they would not spend a lot of money just for a bottle of liquor. Imagine, you don’t have to be really drunk and finish a bottle of your favorite liquor. I, myself, would love to visit this kind of place and experience the unique service that they offer.
